Greg graduated from University of San Diego Law School, and is a member of the California State Bar. He began his carrer in civil litigation, and worked for attorneys who are now judges in San Diego County. In civil litigation, Greg has litigated more than 100 depositions. Attorney Bell also worked at the San Diego District Attorney’s Office as a “post graduate” law clerk in the gang prosecution unit.
Attorney Bell was appointed by the Federal Judges of the Southern District of California to the “Criminal Justice Act” (CJA) Panel to represent indigent defendants in the San Diego Federal Disctrict Court. Attorney Bell represented many defendants in both misdemeanor and felony cases.
Attorney Bell has been associated with Eugene Ellis (“Mr. DUI”) for more than four years. During this time, Attorney Bell has represented more than 2,000 DUI clients in San Diego County. He spends a lot of time with each client and pays close attention to all discovery issues that may effect the client’s case.
Greg Bell has tried more than 150 traffic trials, and has won “not guilty” verdicts in many of these cases. Attorney Bell has argued more than 50 motions to suppress evidence in DUI cases, and has both DUI jury trial and appellate experience.
Mr. Bell recently had a judge dismiss a DUI case, in full, against a client after the jury could not reach a verdict. Attorney Bell also recently won an under 21 DUI case for another client.
Attorney Greg Bell is certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHSTA”) as a student administrator of the Field Sobriety Tests. He also attends DUI seminars at the State and National level to study all current issues in DUI defense to better service his clients.
